Our Schools are Resilient

Gilroy Unified School District has responded decisively to uphold government COVID-19 guidelines and safeguard students, teachers and staff. With 11,000 students and 15 campuses to consider, the District's response is complex and multi-layered, from revised school schedules and supplemental learning materials to free meals and ed tech support.

On March 27th, GUSD Superintendent Dr. Debbie Flores announced that as of April 13th, Distance Learning will be provided to all GUSD students (many teachers have been holding online classes since March 13th).

Student families and community partners will find critical information organized for easy access online at https://www.gilroyunified.org/novel-coronavirus-information.

The District set up a special email and phone connection for questions related to COVID-19. Email questions@gilroyunified.org or call 669-205-5590.

Dr. Flores' message to GUSD families was poignant: "I am thinking of all of you and I hope that you continue to find peace in moments of uncertainty, laughter in moments of stress, and strength in the people who surround you."
